Megan Thee Stallion‘s lawyers have been granted permission to question Tory Lanez from behind bars as part of her defamation lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz.

On Monday (February 24), the Houston rapper’s legal team filed a motion to request permission to depose Tory in her suit, as it directly involves him as well.

Filed in October, Megan is suing Gramz (real name Milagro Elizabeth Cooper) for cyberstalking, emotional distress and promoting an “altered sexual depiction” for sharing deepfake pornographic content of her. She alleges that this occurred because Tory was paying third-party bloggers to spread lies about her and cast doubt on her credibility in the shooting case.

She even cited payments totaling $3,000 from Tory’s father to Gramz when she filed for (and received) a restraining order against Tory for harassment last month.

In her new filing to depose Tory, Meg’s legal team wrote they believe questioning him is “necessary for Ms. Pete to fully investigate the extent and bases of Defendant’s conduct and Defendant’s relationship with Mr. Peterson, in support of her claims.”

Judge Altonaga quickly approved the order – allowing Meg’s team to now take his deposition either in person at the prison or through video conference.

Megan Thee Stallion’s lawsuit charges Gramz with defamation; “promotion of an altered sexual depiction,” for allegedly directing her followers to a deepfake video of Megan having sex; cyberstalking; and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The suit talks about Gramz’s “conspiratorial relationship” with Tory Lanez, who shot Megan in July 2020 and is currently serving a 10 year sentence for it.

“Defendant acts as a paid surrogate used to spread [Tory]’s lies about [Megan],” the suit reads.

Gramz first responded to the suit on her X account.

“Countersuit gone go crazy,” she wrote.

Another message seemed to respond to the suit’s characterization of her as a “paid surrogate” for Lanez.
