The Young Democrats of America along with several other organizations link up with DJ Green Lantern to drop Sirius Business Mixtape hosted by Eminem. The project features Democratic messages and is part of the Young Voter’s Alliance’s “Trick or Vote” campaign. The campaign is a nationwide effort to mobilize young voters during this Halloween season.
“For the past 72 years YDA has mobilized young people to participate in the electoral process. Faced with the urgency of the upcoming elections and the dire need to turn the tide of decreasing young voter participation, YDA is proud to house the Alliance and with innovative projects like “Trick or Vote” and our DJ Green Lantern mixed CD—there is no stopping the Democratic youth vote” says Jane Flemming, Executive Director of the YDA.
“Sirius Business” hit the streets this past Saturday at The Official Mixtape Release Party in Philadelphia.
