Waka Flocka Flame confirmed reports of his passing with an “R.I.P.” tribute made via Flipagram.

Be100 Radio, the radio station that Debra Antney and Waka Flocka Flame own, offered condolences to Kayo Redd’s family.

Dayne Dash, who was responsible for Redd’s booking and features, according to Kayo’s Twitter profile, also wrote about the rapper’s passing on Instagram. Dash’s caption for an image featuring Kayo can be seen below.

You had my back and I had yours, @whiteboytommy was never more than 2 steps away. “I love you brodie” is what you told me EVERY TIME we parted ways or got off the phone ever since Dunk passed. I’m not going to say the “rest ….” Phrase, because anyone that knows you knows that you never liked or wanted to say that. It was always “LONG LIVE”. The only word that can explain my feeling right now is disbelief.

In December 2011, Waka Flocka Flame’s friend and affiliate Slim Dunkin was murdered.

Kayo’s Twitter name was “#LLDunkin #YNS.”

HipHopDX would like to extend condolences to Kayo Redd’s family, friends, fans and associates.
