West Coast rapper Nipsey Hussle has been wrapping up press runs promoting his most latest mixtape drop and his upcoming album.

During a recent sit-down with Vlad TV, Nip expressed his respect for fellow rapper Drake and said everyone should give him the props he believes he deserves.

“I’m a fan first, I like the music most definitely think he one of the dopest of our generation and I respect him,” Nipsey said when asked about Drake. “You’re either going to keep it 100 or you not, you gotta respect what’s real.”

Nipsey Hussle also talked about “Killer,” a song he did with the Toronto native four years ago. Hussle says the song was originally for Drake’s album but they decided to leak it instead.

“We did a record together, I wasn’t on the album but we did a record together in ’09 called ‘Killer,'” Nipsey said when asked about the song. “It was a record we did and it was originally made for his album and once we finished it he was like, ‘What you want to do with it?’ and I was like, ‘Shit, it’s on you,’ and he was like, ‘I’m thinking about leaking it,’ and I was like, ‘Let’s go, leak that motherfucker.'”

“Killers” was released in 2009 after Drake leaked the drake via OVO.com.
