Kanye West has issued an apology to Kamala Harris following a crude comment he made about the former presidential candidate during an explosive return to X.
Ye was previously being banned from the platform for posting a swastika in 2022. In a burst of posts amid his return on Saturday (February 1), he mentioned Kamala, Donald Trump and more – along with the fact that he feels he can say whatever he wants now because he’s rich.
“I used to want to fuck Kamala until she lost. I don’t fuck losers anymore,” he wrote in a since-deleted post.
Other posts included, “Trumps’ back in office. Ye’s back a billionaire. The world might just be ok,” “Damn, just warming up. I’m rich I can say whatever the fuck I want to. I do this for the broke me. Shout out to broke me this ones for you” and, “I risked my life to wear a red hat then he turned it black. [laughing emoji]”
After deleting the post about Kamala, Ye first wrote: “The democrats made me take the loser post down. Naw I’m kidding. Dey don’t control black people no more. Trump 4 life.”
He then issued an apology.

Following his rant, Kanye West quickly made headlines again at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Walking the red carpet with his wife Bianca Censori on Sunday night (February 2), she then removed her fur coat in front of photographers to reveal a completely see-through slip, exposing her naked body to the world.
Ye, meanwhile, wore a more conservative ensemble of a black T-shirt and pants, matching shades, a small chain and diamond grills.
Censori’s daring wardrobe choice sparked rumors that she and Kanye had been kicked out of the awards ceremony and were not officially invited.
However, a source close to the Grammys told Variety that the speculation was “not true” and that Kanye simply “walked the carpet, got in his car and left.”
He then returned to X to share a number of steamy pictures of Censori in her “outfit.”
One image shows them passionately tongue kissing, while another depicts him kissing her neck from behind.
