50 Cent has called for A$AP Rocky‘s shooting case to be dismissed over concerns about his alleged victim A$AP Relli’s character and testimony.
In a scathing Instagram post on Monday (February 3), the G-Unit boss blasted Relli over his criminal past, with the former A$AP Mob member having two outstanding warrants in New Jersey for driving offenses dating back to 2010.

“Now what’s the chances of that, on the stand, on the run. Yeah throw this whole case away. This guy is trying to get some money that’s all,” he wrote, referencing Relli’s $30 million lawsuit against Rocky over the November 2021 incident.
In a separate post, 50 again demanded that Pretty Flacko’s felony assault charges be dropped after it was speculated that the judge overseeing the trial had concerns about whether the state of California can “ethically continue to prosecute the case” after Relli’s testimony.
“Yeah the[y] better drop this case, they just want to see Rihanna like the rest of us! WTF,” Fif joked.
50 Cent’s second post appeared to reference inconsistencies in A$AP Relli’s testimony that emerged after he was cross examined by A$AP Rocky’s lawyer Joe Tacopina on Monday.
While on the witness stand last week, Relli (real name Terell Ephron) claimed that a video showing him at a gun range in October 2021 — weeks before he was allegedly shot by Rocky — was “probably” filmed in New Jersey and not in Los Angeles.

However, on Monday he U-turned on that statement and admitted that he was, in fact, at a gun range in L.A., giving credence to the defense’s argument that he manufactured evidence against his former friend.
As legal journalist Meghann Cuniff noted, “The video of Relli shooting a gun weeks before the shooting is the best defense evidence so far to support the theory that Relli didn’t find the casings at the shooting scene like he says he did.”

Ephron has testified that he found the shell casings after returning to the scene about an hour after the shooting in Hollywood, but Rocky’s lawyer insists that was impossible because his client fired a starter pistol to break up a scuffle, not a real gun.
Relli was also inconsistent when questioned about security footage of him at the scene of the alleged shooting after police left.
The New York native repeatedly changed his mind as to the facts and was vague about whether he was accompanied by his girlfriend.
In addition to their starter pistol argument, Rocky’s legal team have also claimed that A$AP Relli’s legal action and civil lawsuit are attempts to extort him.

Tacopina also got into a heated spat with deputy district attorney John Lewin during Monday’s hearing after the defense attorney was accused of attempting to anger Relli by showing a picture of his girlfriend in court.
Tacopina labeled the woman in the photo a “prostitute,” which the prosecution claimed was an attempt to prejudice the jury.

The two attorneys were eventually separated by A$AP Rocky stepping between them — marking just the latest instance of tempers flaring in the contentious trial.
The trial is set to continue on Tuesday (February 4), with witnesses expected to be called to the stand this week.
