As Summer is setting in, we’re getting a lot of tracks coming up on albums that haven’t actually released yet. This week, we even get some album snippets added to our Top Singles list. While the anticipation builds for all of the upcoming Rap releases, we’re getting to hear a glimpse of what’s to come from those projects. That also includes mixtapes. So check out the picks this week and decide which of the albums and mixtapes coming will be your new favorites. Hurry up, though, because the Fall will be here before you know it, and you’ll have a whole lot of other music to invest in.

Kendrick Lamar Swims, Rick Ross Drops Snippets For God Forgives, I Don’t

It must be nice to have a career that’s so established you can reveal a bit of every song on the album and know that the fans will still support it. That’s what Rick Ross is doing with God Forgives, I Don’t. The MMG kingpin will drop his album on July 31st, but just this week he came through with the snippets for the album. Of course the snippets made their way to this. They came in at #2. Meanwhile, Rawse loses out to Kendrick Lamar’s leak off October 2nd’s Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City titled “Swimming Pools (Drank).” In at #3? Another Nas cut, “Trust.” With Life Is Good in stores now, there was still some room for the iTunes bonus track to keep the Nas frenzy going.
