Lloyd Banks has announced the delay of his upcoming mixtape V6.

The project was originally intended for release on April 30th. The G-Unit member took to Twitter to break the news that the project has hit a delay, stating that he wanted to make the offering perfect before releasing it to fans.

“Still a few things I have to do with the tape,it’s not droppin monday..but soon after!” he wrote. “I just want it to be delivered the right way. Trust me, it’s worth the wait! You won’t be disappointed.”

Banks last released his mixtape Cold Corner 2 in November 2011. The street mixtape featured contributions from Styles P and Prodigy.

UPDATE #2: Lloyd Banks’ delayed mixtape, V6: The Gift, now has a solid release date. According to DatPiff, the project will arrive on July 24th.
