For the fourth week in a row, HipHopDX is giving you you the 10 most popular singles on the site from the past week. After every week our staff will give you the ranked list since the past Monday, based on visits. These numbers are reflective from the time of posting.

Nasty Nas In Your Area

Nas took the crown by a massive margin of over 10,000. The Def Jam Records superstar called back to his early ’90s roots in title and style on “Nasty.” The song falls in the tradition of “Nas Is Like,” “Made U Look,” “Thief’s Theme” and “Queens Get The Money” – past early releases that showed the Queensbridge lyrical legend warming up his campaigns with hardcore tracks. If Nas’ next album sounds at all like this, one of the all-time lyrical greats may make another classic album.

J. Cole & Drake Continue To Drive Listens

Although J. Cole music leaked without the artist’s permission this week, he and Rap peer Drake continue to drive the interest in Audio. As Eminem surprisingly did not make an appearance for the first time ever, the Roc Nation and Young Money early twenties emcees each appeared multiple times. If his label’s cease-and-desist is any indication, Cole wants you to hear “Work Out,” but isn’t ready to unveil “Lost Ones” formally.
