For the third week in a row, HipHopDX is giving you you the 10 most popular singles on the site from the past week. After every week our staff will give you the ranked list since the past Monday, based on visits. These numbers are reflective from the time of posting.
Drake Takes Care Of The Week
With his sophomore studio album, Take Care, now planned for fall release, Drake’s said-to-be album cut “Marvin’s Room” was the pinnacle of audio interest this week. The song takes its name from an early 1990s play about struggling with an AIDs diagnosis, although the musical contents appear to have nothing in common. Note that the last two weeks’ winner, J. Cole, did not appear on the Top 10 at all this week.
Eminem & Royce Da 5’9 Dominate The Charts
Four Bad Meets Evil songs, as well as an early single from Nickel Nine‘s Success Is Certain dominated the Top 10. That put Royce at half of the songs on the chart altogether, a first that we have seen thus far. BME’s Hell: The Sequel releases next Tuesday, June 14 on Shady/Interscope Records.

Dude, Big Sean’s album is about to be the best produced album of the year. He has been putting out straight fire. I will admit lyrically he is lacking, but MAN. He got that College Dropout type feel to his freshman release. I might mess around and cop this purely for Yeezy’s production.
