As the new year arrives, many celebrities have been hired to perform to close out 2010 and open up 2011. With shows in hotels, television programs and more, stars are all about working on New Year’s Eve.
Drake, for instance, will be performing at The W Hotel South Beach’s WET and Nicki Minaj will bring her “Monster” act to Mansion. Fans not in Miami can also catch her as she performs on NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly. Their Young Money leader, Lil Wayne, will be in Chicago’s Adrianna’s Club Ballroom but he will also be premiering his next single on TV. Expect him on NBC as he is set to premier The Carter IV’s “6 Foot, 7 Foot.”
Las Vegas is also a hotspot for this evening. Since it was announced, Jay-Z’s multi-million dollar show with Coldplay at The Cosmopolitan has been an anticipated performance. Fans can also catch Rihanna as she will be at PURE at Caesar’s Palace, Jamie Foxx is slated to be at LIV and Nelly will be at Aria’s Haze. Ludacris is also set to be in Las Vegas at Hard Rock Hotel’s Vanity Nightclub while Diddy’s celebration will take place inside the Luxor.
