Kanye West is just one of many artists with whom 50 Cent has had some sort of beef in the past. As such, it was surprising to hear the Queens emcee reveal that he may record with his onetime adversary.

“I sat with Swizz [Beatz]; I’mma try to get in with him,” said 50 to MTV Newsabout his next album.“Don’t even be surprised if you hear me and Kanye, just talented artists — period. I’mma collaborate and make a monster this time. Ain’t nobody off limits to me in my head. If creatively they have something they feel is something for the project, I’m with it.”

50 didn’t elaborate on the possible collaboration with West, who was his opponent in a much-publicized sales battle in 2007. Kanye came out ahead in the contest, selling 957,000 copies of Graduation to 50 Cent’s 691,000 copies of Curtis.
