Currently Eve is riding high on the top of the charts with “Eve-olution”, the number one album in the country during her debut. The rest of the top ten spots are being held by the (# 2)Clipse with their album “Lord Willin”, (#3) after fifteen weeks on the charts Eminem holds steady with “The Eminem Show” followed by Lil Flip’s new album “Undaground Legend”. Lil Flip has been making big noise with his album selling it for $5.99.
“Everybody else’s double is $10 or more,” Flip said to the Houston Chronicle. “Bootleggers go out and get that and sell copies. But when the album is just $5, why bootleg?” The rest of the top ten features Trina at number 5 with her second album “Diamond Princess”, followed by “Nellyville” which has kept Nelly in the top ten for eleven weeks. Def South President Face with his new album “The Fix” comes in at number 7 before Slip-N-Slide artist Trick Daddy checks in at number 8 with his new joint “Thug Holiday”. Reggae Artist Beenie Man and the “Barbershop” soundtrack come in at 9 and 10 respectively.
