Kanye West has used artificial intelligence for most of his Vultures music videos so far, but his latest one for “Bomb” ramps things up by recreating his daughters.

Released on Wednesday (November 27), the computer-generated clip finds AI versions of North West and her younger sister Chicago racing various monsters and anthropomorphism creatures through the desert.

Neither Kanye nor his Vultures collaborator Ty Dolla $ign appear in the Mad Max-meets-Star Wars video. It’s also unclear who created it or which AI platform they used.

The track, taken from Ye and Ty’s latest album Vultures 2, features vocals from the West siblings, including some Japanese lyrics from 11-year-old North.

The video received a mixed response from fans, online with many criticizing the use of AI.

“I love Kanye but the bomb music video is ai slop and sucks so hard,” one wrote on X (formerly Twitter), while another added: “I’m not kidding…the fall off of Kanye West needs to be studied. This is so bad and insanely lazy seeing as it’s 99% AI.”

Others, however, were more receptive.

“I thought it was cute. Why is everyone hating? Maybe I’m seeing through a parent’s pov,” one impressed viewer commented.

Another praised it as “a fascinating glimpse into the future of creativity, where technology not only enhances but transforms traditional storytelling. Wonder if it will ever be able to replicate real human-like creativeness[?]”

Kanye West has also been criticized by fans in recent months over his apparent use of AI in his actual music.

On the Vultures 2 track “Sky City,” several listeners noted that Yeezy’s voice sounded odd and that certain bars sounded punched in.

“Did Kanye partly use AI on his SKY CITY verse? It feels like someone gave him a ref and they just deepfaked the voice. Theres also the random punch ins that sound authentic but are way too noticeable Wtf does this man delay his albums for???” one user wrote on social media.
