As many people say, one phone call says it all. Last week we heard Ja Rule spitting venom on New York’s Hot 97 about the beef that has risen between himself and DMX. Last night, (August 29th), DMX answered Ja Rule’s verbal sparring during a conversation he had with Big Von on KMEL 106.1 (San Francisco).

DMX said he feels that Irv Gotti has no place in his beef with Ja Rule. “I kept it as real as I could. It’s between me and Ja unless he needs more people. Irv needs to shut the f**k up and mind his business. He really thinks he’s Gotti. You are not Gotti. Ain’t nothing teflon about the rolls on his chest”.

X further went on to address the as-yet unreleased song he planned to drop, as well as “The Pledge” remix, where Ja is allegedly dissing X. “Tomorrow “Ruled Out” will hit the streets. It’s not going to be on the album. Nobody’s heard the song and it’s already a response”. Responding to Ja’s comments on X’s past dealing with drugs, he said, “Everybody goes through some s**t”. Hip-hop heads can look forward to this battle remaining on wax and not in the streets, physically that is. X says, “It’s a rap thing and I’m end it on a rap tip”.
