Many people may not like it, but you gotta know. Murder Inc. Records has got music on lock right now. Ja Rule has been doing his thing on everything from music to movies, as well as Ashanti, the addition of Charli Baltimore and the rest of the murders. Irv Gotti is a man with a plan. Right now is plan is to keep making hot music. With the addition of Nas (not as a member of the label, but and affiliate) Gotti see a new game plan coming into focus. Gotti is considering linking Ja Rule’s new album and Nas’s next album together. Irv Gotti told MTV, “Ja’s album is coming out in November,” Gotti said. “We’re gonna drop Nas and Ja’s albums together, and we’re gonna do a cross-promotion like you’ve never seen before. When you see an album come out and you see commercials, it’s [usually] a 30-second spot. I’m gonna combine their budgets, and you’re gonna see a 60-second spot.”

Nas plans to drop his new album God’s Son on November 19. Although Irv Gotti still feels DMX is a friend, he doesn’t see Ja having taken his style. When talking about the beef between Ja and DMX, Gotti said, “”I’m gonna pose the question to you like I would pose to anybody,”. Would X have made ‘Every little thing that we do, should be between me and you’? Would X have made ‘Put It on Me’? Would X have made ‘I’m reeeeeal/ The way you walk, the way you talk’? So would somebody explain to me what the f— is X talking about? … I take it as a slap and disrespect to my face.” Check out Irv spitting bars on Toni Braxton’s new track “No More Love”. Whether you love them or hate them, you gotta respect the murderous crew!
