One of the most in demand rapper’s in the hip-hop game today is about to get bigger. Nelly is the first celebrity spokesman and endorser for The SongPro Player. The SongPro Player is the first electronic device of its kind that will target the young hip-hop community. The SongPro device is a plug-in module that will turn Nintendo Gameboy’s, Gameboy Advance and GameBoy Color into digital music and multimedia players. The SongPro Player is the first of its kind to be African-American manufactured.
On August 15th Nelly and SongPro co-founder Mark Bush will be in attendance at the press conference and demonstration. Nelly is also gearing up to release his first movie titled “Snipes” on September 13th. In the movie Nelly plays a rapper named Prolifik, who is having trouble finishing his first album due some of the shady dealings with his record company Ill Wax Records. “Snipes” has already won a Best Feature award at the 2002 Philadelphia Festival of World Cinema.
