With his label locking down spots on both the Rap and R& B charts, directing videos for his artist and beginning his own rap career, Irv Gotti maybe set to work with one of the biggest names in music. According to MTV, Michael Jackson contacted Irv Gotti while he was at a basketball game and told him that he would like to work with him. When Gotti and Michael met at the Neverland Ranch, the vibe was definitely there for them to make some hits.
But…they ran into a slight problem. “He has no studio in his house,” Gotti said in an interview with MTV.”Can you believe it? We played music for him on a little tiny radio. I’m like, ‘Mike, what’s up, man? You got all the safaris and stuff. Where’s the studio?’ Irv believes that if and when he and Michael get together, he will give fans that classic material we have grown to love. Hmm, maybe a “Thriller Part 2” could be in the works?
