Last night I watched World Wrestling Entertainment’s weekly show Smackdown and was very surprised to see a special guest on the program. Coming back after a long hiatus from wrestling, superstar The Rock addressed the sold out crowd in Atlantic City, New Jersey with plans to sing a song to the crowd. Rock said he planned to do it solo until he realized there was someone there who could do it better than him. Busta Rhymes walked into ring with The Rock to the sound of cheers and clapping. The Rock asked Busta Rhymes about his new movie Halloween: The Resurrection, which is in theatres today, which is an additional installment in the Mike Myers series.
When The Rock asked Busta to join him in a song, Busta begun to sing “AC is one of my favorite cities/ they got the women with the big ass t..”, The Rock cut Busta Rhymes off and said that this was Smackdown the wrestling show not Smackup, a porn station. Together The Rock and Busta Rhymes sung under the boardwalk, while getting loud cheers from the crowd. This was definitely a good segment not only for the movie promotion but also for The Rock’s (brief) return to television.
