After having hip-hop heads wonder where we would see another Tony Stark’s album, Ghostface Killah has finally landed on a new record label. Ghostface has officially signed a deal with Def Jam Records to record his new solo projects along with launching his own record label, Starks Enterprises. Ghost plans to drop his first Def Jam album later this year which will be followed by his first album from Starks Enterprises featuring several of his artists, Supreme and Wigs. According to AHH.com, this is a deal that Ghost feels is going to take him to the next level. “They on top right now. They contro the radio, it’s bananas. We not gonna change nothing. Going from Epic to Def Jam is like going from the Padres to Yankees. Everybody knows what Def Jam capable of doing. We aint gonna change nothing.”
Fans can still check out GhostFace’s album The Wonderful World of Wallabees dropping on October 21st on Epic Reocrds. Ghost previously dropped his last three solo albums Supreme Clientele, Ironman, Bulletproof Wallets on Epic. No word has been released as to when heads can expect a new Wu Tang album.
