Halfway through April, Kanye West probably has the most talked about albums of the year. It saw a significant drop on Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart this week after making history in its first week reporting numbers. Rihanna, Kevin Gates, Bryson Tiller, G-Eazy and The Weeknd remain in the Top 15 as the world awaits Views From the 6.
Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo Remains In Top 5
Kanye West made history last week when The Life of Pablo topped the charts off streams. This was the album’s first time charting because the rapper withheld the project’s numbers while it was reportedly streamed on TIDAL more than 25o million times. This week, West lands at #4 after selling 47,246 album equivalent units, a 50 percent drop. He remains dominant in the streaming game, with The Life of Pablo seeing nearly 69 million clicks across all streaming services.
Future Charts Three Projects
Future is still making his money as he charts three projects within the Top 30. His joint project with Drake, What a Time to Be Alive, lands at #21, EVOL charts at #25 and he follows himself in Hip Hop album sales with Dirty Sprite 2 reaching the #30 spot, beating Big Sean and Jhene Aiko’s Twenty88, which fell 74 percent this week to the #33 spot.
Skizzy Mars Makes Debut
Harlem, New York’s Skizzy Mars makes his debut on the chart with Alone Together, which lands at #50. The project sold 10,316 album equivalent units and was streamed nearly three million times. Mars enlisted Pell, Rome Fortune and others for the LP.

3 top 30 albums selling 5k units total. guess it doesn’t take much.
How is the total amount sold for DS2 less than the physical copies bought???
Wow… Did you really just ask that question for everyone on the World Wide Web to see? The first set of numbers represent LAST weeks digital sales (albums, single, streams) only. Again, only LAST week’s sales are being counted. Not the total sales since its release. So the numbers are showing that LAST week more people bought physical copies than digital purchases (or the streaming equivalent of a purchase). Pretty simple to understand. Not sure what’s so confusing about that.
YE can’t sell shit streams mean 0 .. Loyal fans good music equals sales ! The Weeknd Future and King Drake still moving 20k units months later even half or year later . That’s called quality ! Views up next ….
Glade to see Skizzy Mars charting out here!!… Support that quality Hiphop
how much did Krizz Kaliko’s GO album do?
Talented voice in the hip hop industry. People love him if he has sales like that. Also, its another win for vine. That platform helps discover talented voices.
You mean a talentless voice in the hip-hop industry. Nobody loves that Future clone. And fuck Vine, that shit doesn’t help discover talented voices, only shitty novelty acts who you’ll never hear from a few months from now.
The only reason that Panda bullshit is doing well is because people thought he was/still think he’s Future. This shitty rapper is leaching off another shitty rapper’s sound.
Hes 100 times better thank kanye and certainly 10000 way better than kendall lamer. He will get more hits in the future
HA!! Better than Kanye? The dude doesn’t even have his own sound since he has to rip off Future constantly, he’ll never be better than Kanye and he damn sure ain’t better than Kendrick Lamar. You’ll forget about this Future clone by the time Panda starts losing buzz and he won’t have any more hits.
He big on vine too
Which means nothing since Vine doesn’t make careers.
Designer inspired panda dances on vine
No, he didn’t. There are no Panda dances.
