Dr. Dre, Ice-T, Xzibit & FredWreck Post Up In The Studio

While Xzibit’s Pimp My Ride days may be over, his musical journey is ongoing. On Wednesday (February 12), the X to the Z shared an Instagram photo of himself posted up at the studio with Dr. Dre and Focus…

“@focus3dots @drdre @xzibit you have no idea wtf we about to drop like a atom bomb on you.com,” he promised in the caption. “#Powerful #Actions no statement needed. #Ilikethatyouthinkyourewinning.” [apple_news_ad type=”any”]

Xzibit followed up with another photos of himself with Dre, FredWreck, Ice-T and producer Hen Gee with the hashtags, “#WestCoast #Avengers.”

Although it would be a Hip Hop purist’s dream come true if they were all collaborating on a project together, it appears the illustrious Hip Hop figures could’ve simply been celebrating Ice-T’s birthday party at Lawry’s The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills either before or after they popped up in the studio.

Hen Gee shared a video montage of the festivities to his Instagram account on Wednesday (February 12).

“#WestCoastWednesday #TrippleOG Ice T, Bornday party/Toast w/Fam & Friends,” he captioned the post. “Best time ever. Memory lane. #TourLife, #StreetLife #Loyalty #Integrity #NoSnitching #GoldenEra #GangsterRap #RymeSyndicate. #CrimeCrew. reunión. Live as long as you want, & never want as long as you live! #Ice-T.”

The inimitable Ice-T turns 62 on Sunday (February 16).

    1. imagine… if these legends came out today.. they’d name themselves.. Lil Xzibit. Young Fredwreck. Lil Dr. Dre. Young IceT etc etc fuckwits this Lil Young Ass generation is

    2. It’s DRE. Expect NOTHING. Dre promised some LL Cool J produced by dre like 5 years ago. Compton album was sub par. Not a classic, not even close. Dres production on Eminems newest album was not anything great IMO… Dre was dope In the day, but seems to think he has to make newschool sounding music to fit in to today’s hits. Little does Dre understand, we don’t want that. We want shit just like BOTH Chronic albums! We don’t want something newschool. Dre had a sound that didn’t need to change.

      1. Dre did bring kendrick lamar to the table so gotta give him that? I think so but I’m just a deceased magician with a cancelled show (pre cancel culture) what would I know, ps chronic is analog purity, and was made pre daft discussions on the Internet, Debbie’s fuming….

        1. I hate it when people say Dre brought out Kendrick or introduced Kendrick, whoo whoo. Kendrick was poppin before Dre and had his choice to chose from on where to sign. Kendrick could have gone any where with his buzz at the time. Yes, Dre absolutely enhanced Kendrick, but Kendrick was KILLIN before Dre. Section 80 is still one of my top Kendrick projects, and I definitely rate it above DAMN.

    3. Fredwreck is an underrated producer. Glad to see greatness recognize greatness.
Obie Trice, Cheers- Follow My Life
      Snoop Dogg, Blue Carpet- Crazy
2 Fredwreck bangers off the top of my head. Check, or recheck them out.

    4. Maaan, throw Bishop Lamont on the track and it’s a guaranteed banger. Every now and then, I revisit the ol’ Bishop Lamont street albums, and they were incredible! Just think if those were released today! They’d be well received in the backdrop of all the trash that’s released now a days. Incredible beats, impeccable lyricism, super clean production, and most importantly music with a MESSAGE! As Bishop would say, “Messssage!”

          1. Quit being a dick rider. All legends go downhill in music. Nas isn’t making Illmatic type hits. Jayz sucks now. Kanye isn’t making classics… Dmx isn’t. Cmon man, I sound like a moron? No. Get out of your little bubble and you will see most people won’t touch new eminem music. He’s very popular worldwide, so still breaks records with ease, just like Lil Nas X has.

    5. I know about the three others but who the fuck is FredWreck? I don’t follow these new trendy hipster mumble rappers so i have no idea who that is.

      1. He’s a very well versed producer/player/engineer he was working with the dogg pound years ago and he definitely has the ear, you should check him out, he’s certified….. DEBBIE’S FUMING

      2. U never read album credits? FredWreck’s been active since the the late 90’s, certified West Coast legend. Get yo chit straight fool, smh
