Dr. Dre has released six new songs on streaming services, courtesy of Grand Theft Auto.
In December, the legendary producer joined forces with the popular video game franchise to debut his first new material in six years through the Grand Theft Auto Online expansion The Contract.
Dre starred as himself in The Contract, which tasked players with retrieving the Aftermath founder’s stolen phone containing unreleased music that could be heard exclusively in-game.
Now, almost two months later, Dr. Dre’s batch of Grand Theft Auto tracks have arrived on Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, YouTube et al. for all to enjoy.
The collection of half a dozen tracks includes collaborations with some of The Doctor’s fondest friends, as well as a few new faces.
Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes and Anderson .Paak join Dre on the funky “ETA,” which samples The Edwards Generation’s 1976 song “You’re the One for Me” and was first heard in the trailer for The Contract.
Eminem and Dre continue their long-running creative partnership on the crazed “Gospel,” while .Paak’s raspy voice makes a repeat appearance alongside Rick Ross on the swanky “The Scenic Route,” which marks Dre and Rozay’s first collaboration since 2012’s “3 Kings.”
Elsewhere, the late Nipsey Hussle and Ty Dolla $ign team up on “The Diamond Mind,” while L.A. lyricist Thurz and Brooklyn-bred singer/songwriter Cocoa Sarai guest on “Fallin Up.”
“Black Privilege” finds Dr. Dre holding court by himself and kissing the sky, name-dropping JAY-Z, Kanye West, Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Diddy, Kobe Bryant, Juice WRLD and Floyd Mayweather on his ascent.
Behind the boards, Dre handles production duties with help from The Alchemist, Eminem, Bink!, Luis Resto, J. LBS, Dem Jointz, Mike & Keys, Phonix Beats and 21 The Producer.
Dr. Dre‘s Grand Theft Auto offerings arrive just in time for his Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show performance on February 13. The West Coast icon will be joined by Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium, where the Los Angeles Rams will face off against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Dre might not be the only artist hitting the Super Bowl stage with new material to perform; Kendrick is rumored to be dropping a brand new single ahead of the big show.

What about the joint he did with Tekashi?!
Dre and Em just keep getting hotter and hotter. Toot toot!
Gospel, ETA, Diamond Mind and Scenic Route are all really good!
Sorry to yall mothafuckin dickriders but it sounds like an old fart during a heatwave after eating a mexican chili.
Make better music or stfu
Like I said: my farts sound better
The song with Eminem is just waaoooow, feels like a classic Dr Dre and Em colab, LOVE IT.
ETA, Gospel and Diamond Mind are serious.
I must be losing my damn mind because Im not feeling any of these tracks outside of Nipsey Hussle verse.
Dre can’t get a non crappy Eminem verse these days .Eminem a huge sellout
I’m really worried about the state of hip-hop now. Even Dre sounds like he’s falling in line with the same old “slow beats, fast flow” routine that most rappers do these days. Nas is currently the only rapper with some variation in his beats.
Try Bizzy Bone for variation, skill
about time.
Dope tracks. Not expecting nothing crazy. Just some good music. Remember Dr.Dre is damn near 5
