DJ Drama has been on a winning streak as of late with the revival of his decorated Gangsta Grillz series, and with it he’s taking credit for bringing mixtapes back.
Mr. Thanksgiving made the bold proclamation on Instagram earlier this week but also thanked Tyler, The Creator for his help in allowing him to collaborate on the Grammy-winning CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST.

Tyler, Funk Flex, Rapsody and more lent their stamp of approval in the comment section of the photo dump featuring Drama cooking up in the studio.
For his most recent Gangsta Grillz additions, Drama was recruited by J. Stone for Rollin Stone and united with French Montana for the sixth installment of his Coke Boys series last week.
The “classic version,” as French described on Twitter, comes with 20 tracks and features Benny The Butcher, A$AP Rocky, Kodak Black, EST Gee, Vory, Jeremih, the late Chinx and more.
