Pop Smoke was one of the hottest artists in New York at the time of his passing. He was regarded as the bridge between the UK, Chicago and New York’s Drill scenes. He was considered the most prominent artist in the entire Brooklyn drill scene especially after his breakout hit “Welcome To The Party” was released. All Summer 2019, Pop Smoke was the soundtrack of parties, events and every NYC basketball tournament. His mixtapes “Meet The Woo” and “Meet The Woo 2” set up his posthumous studio debut “Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon”. He died on February 19th, 2020.

He paid tribute to him on the song “Comme Des Garcons”.
Following the deaths of Pop Smoke, King Von, Mo3, Tripple Beanz and BandGang Paid Will at last count, he has suggested that in order to avoid being murdered that young rappers stay in the crib and abstain from real time social media apps.
Their issues also involve T.I. commenting on Chicago’s King Von’s murder in Atlanta down to their rumored VERZUZ battle. 50 Cent has been vocal about everything involving Pop Smoke since he was killed back in February.
