Rap Release Dates: G.O.O.D. Music, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, Bangladesh, Necro

It’s common practice in Hip Hop to turn an imprint label into a crew. While Jay-Z certainly didn’t start the trend, his Roc-A-Fella label definitely assisted it, along with Diddy’s Bad Boy, and the list goes on. This week, we get the second instalment of Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group’s Self Made series with Vol. 2. It’s all about the crew love, and Pusha T kept that going, as he announced that Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music compilation titled Cruel Summer will see an August 7th release.

Fans of Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire will be pleased to know that the slightly off-kilter artist will drop an EP called Power & Passion sometime in September. Necro has a digital release coming with The Murder Murder Kill Kill Double EP which we’re now seeing with a July 31st release date. Lastly, producer Bangladesh is prepping his album titled Flowers & Candy. His single “100” features Pusha T, Jadakiss, and 2 Chainz. No firm date is set yet for the release.

    1. Man I hate record labels! If you sign an artist let them do them and release the material they want to release then promote on how successful you think that project that is going to be and if it really flops and you don’t see it getting any better in future projects drop them, let another label take them.Take risks, stop fucking holding them back!

      1. If you owned a label and had to invest in the artist (i.e 6 or 7 figure budget) would you let them do what they want with your money? Then say ok it didn’t work I’ll release you without getting any of your investment back

    2. mayn i hope the Slaughterhouse album come out this July they’ve got all the hype they are gonna get!
