HipHopDX Premiere: Canadian producer Factor Chandelier is back with a new video for “Crimson and Cali” featuring Kay The Aquanaut, one of 11 tracks on his recent album, Wisdom Teeth.
Directed by Riley Deacon, the video immediately evokes a Wes Anderson vibe and follows the duo through the woods as The Aquanaut spits thought provoking lyrics over Factor’s impeccable production.
“This song is very special to me because Kay and myself have been collaborating for years,” Factor tells HipHopDX. “Being able to keep going into the studio to make inspired music is the goal. This might be one of my favorite collabs we’ve done. To me, ‘Crimson and Cali’ is a strong follow-up and progression from our last album 7 Vessels that was released on Fake Four Inc. last year.
