HipHopDX Premiere: After announcing his forthcoming album — Wisdom Teeth— last month, Canadian producer Factor Chandelier is back with a video for “Scratch-Off Lotto Tickets” featuring Astronautalis. Filmed in Saskatchewan, the stunning visual came together the day after a show in Factor’s hometown of Saskatoon.
“The creative process was very organic and we felt inspired to create something new while together in the studio,” Factor tells HipHopDX. “I made the beat on the spot, and Astronautalis wrote the lyrics and instantly recorded it. After the first playback, we knew the song needed a video. We connected with videographer DillyBat and the rest is history.”
The former Fake Four Inc. MC and Factor have toured over 70 shows together, and collaborated on several features and digital singles.
