HipHopDX Premiere: R&B superduo Jake&Papa are back with a new video for “Mansion,” which follows the release of their latest EP, Tattoos & Blues. The video was put together with the direction of Jake&Papa, and coupled with their creative team, the simplicity of the visual easily brings the duo’s smooth R&B flavor to the forefront, allowing the song to shine.
“Those who know us know that we advocate self-containment,” Jake&Papa said in a joint statement via press release. “‘Mansion’ was produced and written by us. So we thought we’d complete the trifecta by directing the video. With the help of Dana Rice on the shot and edit, we were able to bring our vision to life.”
