Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko play both the “suspects” and police in their new video for “What If It Was Me,” a short film that tackles the omnipresent topics of police-involved shootings and their devastating outcomes. Posted up outside of a liquor store, Tech is trying to sell his CDs when a cop points his gun at him basically because of the way he looks. However, it doesn’t go down as planned.
With the Strange Music label head’s signature fast flow and Krizz’s melodic hook, it’s another R&B/Hip Hop match made in heaven. Watch the video above to see what happens. “What If It Was Me” comes from Tech’s upcoming studio album, The Storm, which drops on December 9 on his Strange Music label.
