Tyler, The Creator unleashed IGOR this month and all kinds of people have been praising the Odd Future alum’s latest work. Drake is among the celebrities showing his support for the project on social media — and Tyler was all about it.
In fact, he decided to reply to Champagne Papi in a way only Tyler would. After Drake commented on Tyler’s cover art with multiple bullseye emojis, the always colorful artist wrote back, “Send nudes bro.”
IGOR marks the first full-length project since 2017’s Flower Boy. The 12-track effort features guest appearances from Kanye West, Playboi Carti and Charlie Wilson, among others. He spoke about the album in a recent interview with Beats 1 and explained why he doesn’t promote his material months in advance.
“I hate people who hype shit for months in,” Tyler said. “I think now people feel obligated to always let everyone know what the fuck they’re doing, and I hate that. People don’t even have privacy.
“Everyone got to always like, ‘Oh, this what I’m working on, this is who’s on the album, this is the track list, this is coming out in eight months.’ Just shut the fuck up and put it out when it’s ready. People talk too much.”
