Opinions about the newly-released All Eyez On Me biopic has been about as varied as Young Thug’s vocal range, swinging from malicious to celebratory.
Some of Hip Hop’s most influential names have been chiming in with their thoughts on the Benny Boom-directed flick following its Friday (June 16) release, including Los Angeles rap vet The Game. In an Instagram post uploaded over the weekend, the rapper casually offered a “FUCK YOU” to anyone condemning All Eyez On Me.
“#AllEyezOnMe SUPPORT it. Go see it. Tell a friend. I love the movie & ANYBODY with a negative review of this film or anything bad to say about PAC….. I’m gone say it since he can’t….. FUCK YOU #ThugLife #RIP2Pac #RIPAfeni #CaliforniaLove,” The Game wrote.
Interestingly enough, The Game’s show of love for All Eyez On Me greatly contrasts remarks made by his former foe 50 Cent. 50 compared the film to a Lifetime movie and stated ‘Pac “deserved better.”
“I’m a big 2 PAC fan, I just don’t think his story was done well he deserved better. Check it out, the shit felt like I was watching a life time TV movie in a theater. I wanted to change the channel. The new edition story was better then that shit. SMH,” 50 Cent wrote in an Instagram caption.
50 continued his All Eyez On Me bashing and let his followers know Tupac informed him (apparently from his home in Cuba) that the film was less than satisfactory.
“I just got off the phone with 2 PAC he in Cuba mad as a motherfucker,” he wrote. “He said He work so hard to disappear and come back as Makaveli and yal throw his shit together like this DAMN!!!”

Snoop and Dre in the movie made me cringe….literally. They showed none of his artistic devlopement , never showed him writing dear mama, never showed what state of mind he was in when he did Hail Mary , the illest scene in the movie is when they played who shot ya…that’s sad

The movie sucked, main reason was it was a bunch of 2Pac interviews reenacted with a actor. LITERALLY at least 60 mins of this movie is interviews you can watch on YouTube but with a actor, like word for word, mannerism for mannerism, even the same camera angle.

Been a 2pac fan since 1991. Now come on, can’t make a All Eyez On Me movie without Big Syke??? It wasn’t complete garbage but I think they could have done better. Still better than that Straight Outta Compton crap. Still can’t recapture the 90’s vibe no matter how hard they try…but I give them points for tryin. Great performance by Demetrius and Dom… 3.5 / 5.

The biopic was terrible. They did Pac dirty with this one. A couple actors were good, but that’s it. I’d rather watch Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, and the biopic was straight garbage for the most part.
