Last week, the recurring idea of a 50 Cent and The Game reunion exploded on social media after an Instagram photos tagged them both in the same location. Afterwards, HipHopDX spoke with Game’s artist, Pharoah last week, debunking the rumor that G-Unit was reuniting.
Over the weekend, DX got the chance to speak with Game at the video shoot for his single “Roped Off” featuring Problem and Boogie (which dropped today) at an apartment complex in West Compton. He said he couldn’t see a reunion with his former comrade anytime soon. “I don’t know where that came from man, but I can’t see that happening no time in the near future,” said Game. “You know he’s doing his thing, I’m doing my thing. Banks, Buck and Yayo, they all doing their thing.
As the ten-year feud between both turned more civil more recently, fans of both have wanted the two to collaborate again fueling rumors of a G-Unit reunion with the original line-up. This is something that hasn’t gone unnoticed by Game as well. “Positivity is all love these days,” added Game. “2016, we’re trying to keep everybody alive out here.”
The single “Roped Off” will be featured on a new project related to an upcoming A&E documentary inspired by The Hub City. Though details were sparse, Game said the film should provide another view of Compton. “Obviously, niggas is making money and make it straight outta Compton, but what about straight into Compton?” described Game. “It’s about coming outside to back in and letting the world see the hood like they ain’t never seen before. All the hoods and sides.”
All these rappers do is go back to the hood with their Camera and talk a lot of sh** like “YOU SEE HOW F****** UP IT IS HERE?” At least 50 cent takes the WHOLE HOOD to the Theme Park and feeds children all across Africa.
Game wasn’t really G-Unit that long nor did he make an entire album with them. So why do people act like it is much anticipated? The only thing I know and most people know of Game and G-Unit are a couple songs with 50 on his first album.

All of a sudden they got Buck from the south and the Unit popularity sky rocketed even more. Then there was a rumor that a cat from the West coast was about to sign and the whole world went crazy saying G-Unit represented every side. Listen to the Game lyrics from back when Dre was producing him and listen to them now. Its like night and day. Game had very good ghostwriters back in the day.

Honestly I’m in my mid 30s and I remember it like yest when 50 started blowing up while I was in college. Shit he even came to perform at our spring concert. Anyhow I remember how lit it was when these two were side by side circa 04. The energy everyone felt from This is How We Do and Hate it or Love It was just bananas. As much as i think 50 has fallen off musically in current times. I think a reunion between these two would be major for older and younger fans alike. Would be dope and 50 could use the $. Its 2016, fuck the beef shitm make good music and get your $. case closed

I was about to say the same thing. I told ppl Game would be fine after G-unit when most thought he was done. Hes had way better career out of everybody in G-unit other than maybe 50, But in the current state Game definitely looks like the one who could offer help.
