T.I. feels like there’s some funny business going on as it pertains to Nick Cannon.
On Thursday (July 16), the Grand Hustle rapper shared a meme comparing the fact Cannon lost his job almost immediately in the wake of controversial comments about Jewish people, while the cops who killed Breonna Taylor are still freely living their lives months since her death. In his caption, he simply added a thinking emoji.
Since the death of George Floyd, Tip’s continued to use his social media accounts to speak out on racial injustices and he’s also been in the field.
Cannon recently came under fire for making anti-Semitic remarks on his Cannon’s Class podcast while talking with former Public Enemy member Professor Griff. While discussing anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, Cannon said Black people are “the true Hebrews.”

“It’s never hate speech,” he said. “You can’t be anti-Semitic when we are the Semitic people; when we are the same people who they want to be.”
In the wake of the remarks, ViacomCBS severed ties with him and his forthcoming daytime talk show has been postponed until 2021. Cannon has also decided to take a self-imposed hiatus from his Power 106 morning show, but he will remain as host of FOX’s The Masked Singer.
T.I’s recent social justice warpath isn’t ending with Nick Cannon, however. He recently aired out Lloyd’s of London after they admitted to playing a role in the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and demanded reparations. Read the letter below.

Tip has summed it up quite well. We should never forget that the only reason why those cops were fired or even arrested was the resultant public outrage and civil action for the murder of George Floyd. Had it not been for that, those men would’ve been roaming the streets with blood on their hands under the guise of a somewhat honourable police badge like wolves in sheep’s clothing. Let us be reminded that their Oath of Office requires them to ALWAYS act in the PUBLIC interest. There are some of their colleagues who continually engage in similar conduct with even greater body counts that still work in police departments across the US as we speak. The public includes people of different ethnicity, race, colour or creed. Nick was not sworn to anybody but he was obligated to broadcast responsibly. He expressed controversial views which, in eyes of sections of the community, were in breach of his duty much like the killer cops we referred to earlier although on a different scale. He did not however kill anyone nor seek to evade responsibility for his actions unlike them. If everything racist is weighed out equally, we can see that the gravity of the swift action taken against Nick for broadcast of his controversial views does not measure up to reactionary and reluntantly taken prosecutory actions taken against those police officers which would not have happened if it had not been for the civil action taken by the public. The double standard speaks for itself.

You nailed it . While unions do have certain benefits to prevent unscrupulous behavior by bad employers, when a union’s power goes unchecked ( as in this case with police unions ) , it prevents prosecution of appalling activities by union members.
The interesting irony is that the political party that backs unions without exception are the democrats , the same party that is supporting BLM and police reform…… a conflict of interests indeed.
No, you can both support unions for normal ppl but create laws to reduce police unions power. Since Police already have power of life and death.
