Stitches asserts that both The Game and himself are acting like children amid their public feud.
During a newly published interview with XXL, Stitches opened up about the origins of the pair’s rift and later spoke about he believes their differences will be settled.
Stitches first detailed how his The Game feud came to fruition.
“Basically what happened was, I saw some tweet that said some specific shit about grabbing a nigga’s hair or some shit like that and didn’t mention my name specifically, but it’s like one of those things that you know was directed to you,” he says.
Opening up about the situation that transpired outside of a Miami nightclub earlier this month — whereby Stitches was punched by The Game’s manager, Wack 100 — the “Brick In Yo Face” rapper says that he wanted to see the Compton emcee approach him first.
“Nah, I wanted to see him put his hands up and walk toward me and then we would get down. That’s it… Yeah, [I wanted to shoot a fair one with The Game]. I ain’t trying to jump people or none of that crazy shit. That’s pussy shit.”
Stitches says that he’d be willing to find a more peaceful way to resolve their beef, in lieu of the current suggestion of a celebrity boxing match in Los Angeles next month. The Miami rapper later added that both The Game and himself are “acting like children right now.”
“Yeah, dog, it is what it is,” he says. “I don’t give a shit. At the end of the day, both of us are acting like children right now to be honest. But we can handle it in the ring or we can talk about it, and that’s it.”
Stitches later wrapped up his thoughts on the rift, which ignited in early October after he publicly questioned The Game’s gang ties.
“If Game’s a man and he can talk it out with me, we can just talk about it,” Stitches says. “If we have to throw our hands, we throw our hands. If he wants to squash it, we squash it. It ain’t shit, dog. At the end of the day, this shit is stupid already. If he want to be a man about it, we can step into that ring like nothing. That’s that. The situation is done. If he wants to talk about it, we can talk about it. The situation is done.
Elsewhere in the conversation, Stitches says his trust for people has dwindled following an incident earlier this month whereby people whom he says were close friends jumped him.
“Yeah, 100 percent,” he says. “I don’t trust nobody right now. I trust a few people, but yeah. Just being about family right now.”
