Someone Recorded Kanye West’s “Jesus Is King” On The Low

Fans of Kanye West expected to hear ‘Ye’s ninth studio Jesus Is King on Friday (September 27). Par for the course, the project failed to materialize on its scheduled release date.

Then, Kim Kardashian assured people the album would arrive on Sunday (September 29) in one of her Instagram Stories. Once again, it never surfaced. But during ‘Ye’s listening party in New York City over the weekend, somebody recorded the entire project and put in on YouTube.

According to Chicago music industry insider and Valee’s manager Andrew Barber, this album marks a pivotal moment ‘Ye’s career.

On Saturday (September 28), Barber tweeted Kanye plans to abandon secular music for good and will now put all of his energy into making spiritual music.

Earlier this summer, Kanye told Nicki Minaj he was a born-again Christian. She touched on the subject during a July episode of Queen Radio.

“Sometimes in the music business, we think that other artists don’t believe in God or are aren’t spiritual as we are, and stuff like that,” she said. “So we automatically go to the normal, ‘Oh, what up?’

“Then when you find people, because I just was with Kanye, and he told me he’s a born-again Christian now. Like my first instinct was, ‘I’m so proud of you,’ because I could see there’s a peace that he has now that just surpasses everything.”

      1. They sure line up for them Yeezys though. You don’t think before talking or typing I guess. No one cares about what “the hood” fucks with. The music is awful. He needs to focus on other endevours, like the shoes and clothing “the hood” sells drugs and goes to jail for.

        1. And the shoes are pretty ugly. They look like space shoes that the future people in the film Demolition Man would wear.

    1. See how the audience reacts when the second song comes on? The People want real hiphop. They just settle for the wack soft shit. Artists: have the balls to make the raw shit. Fans: Have the balls to demand these artists come harder.

    2. Well, the good news is, now we do t have to pay attention to any of Kanye’s music anymore. This is straight doo doo. That Ye album sucked hairy balls too… I hope he makes those Star Wars projects he was talking about, on Death Star gangster crip.

    3. Ye fell off after Graduation. I had to stop supporting him after that because he became like most popular rappers, 1-2 decent songs at best per album and little to no replay value. He should do a feature run like J Cole did and show us he can still body a track and outshine whoever is on it with him.

      1. fell off after graduation? every rapper now uses the 808s formula and have u ever heard MBDTF or watch the throne? yikes.

    4. Beats always dope and when he is rapping it sound fire, but what is up with the singing and IT seems like singing without auto tune? Nah fam put that machine on you need it. Even Ty isn’t that great of a singer or Cudi as is either lol. Still looking forward to the finished product.

    5. I listened to this and it’s horrible. Kanye has fallen off. it started to feel more forced with Life Of Pablo but it wasn’t horrible but then, his dullness became more apparent with “Ye” and now with this is just a terrible piece of garbage – his fall off seems cemented. He’s become boring. I think he will have a comeback one day many years from now but for now, Kanye seems done. I blame the Kardashians and predict I come back when he splits from that crazy family.

    6. Sad all he wants to do is gospel music now when secular is what helped to make him who he is in the rap game. Quality won’t be that great anymore.

    7. This whole move is a cash grab. His mother in law, Kris Kardashian, owns a church in California. It’s an entirely new demographic for them to exploit- and yet another way for this sad, former hip hop giant, to “reinvent” himself. If we stop caring, he’ll stop trying…

    8. The vid’s not working anymore it got taken down due to copyright… anybody know another place to listen or a link?
