Run The Jewels Finally Unveil ‘RTJ4’ Album Release Date, Cover Art & Tracklist

Killer Mike and El-P — collectively known as Run The Jewels — have finally unveiled the cover art, release date and tracklist for their highly anticipated Run The Jewels 4 album.

Boasting 11 tracks, the project features Greg Nice, DJ Premier, Zack de la Rocha, 2 Chainz, Pharrell Williams, Mavis Staples and Josh Homme. The album includes the previously released singles “Yankee and the Brave (Ep. 4)” and “Ooh LA LA.”

As noted in the press release, RTJ4 was recorded primarily at Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La Studios in Malibu and the iconic Electric LadyStudios in New York City. It “represents two years of intensive writing, recording, distilling and amplifying the most potent elements of their music” resulting in “pointed social commentary and raw, boisterous fun.”

    1. Dope. Always look forward to good hip hop. Was kind of hoping for some doper features but I know it’ll still be dope as fuck. De La Rocha feat will be fire.

      1. Ha, nice try, but I said no more than 14 tracks. So yes, I will be listening to this.

        1. This shit will slap harder than 1999, but nothing I made after that cause it was all trash

    2. The first album was flawless, fun and aggressive. Everything after felt like a rip off. They are trying do hard to milk the fuck outta this gimmick. The last one was trying so hard to win over the antifa whinny incel simp crowd

Elp turned into a soggy, moist, vagina. This dude turned into BuzzFeed the rapper

This dude stays blocking and turning off comments on his social media posts. Trying to silence anyone with an opposing criticism yet he cries about the government doing the same shit

I’m terribly disappointed in them if you couldn’t tell

      1. Always gotta be a lame comment from some redpilled incel 4chan addict. “Oh noes SJW rappers! I’m very concerned, and it has nothing to do with the fact no girls will fuck me!”

    3. Who? A’int nobidy checking for these old, irrelevant, senile niccas. “Yo turn that RTJ up” says nobody ever

      1. Get the hell out of here. Killer Mike and El-P are dope – sounds to me like you’re a pathetic little tween who listens to trash.

      2. Young boys Feeble mind can’t comprehend anyone if the prefix doesn’t say Young or Lil! He thinks hip-hop is something you do Instead of live. I feel your pain ”LiL” David

    4. Hell yes. Also – novel to see this site push a story that isn’t related to 6ix9ine. Won’t be long until the next one I daresay.

    5. Yo do y’all ever get tired of trolling? This is how you know site is full of trolls: When hip-hop has been swinging to what females want for the last 20 years and now black women are becoming more educated, this is the stuff they listen to, and it gets bashed a month before the album even drops. We can see y’all hate black & white folks working together. The fight against raising vibrations is real.

    6. I ain’t checking no new RTJ songs until El-P puts both Compamy Flow albums back on Spotify, fuck dat
Or maybe I will but do not tell nobody
