Logic has revealed that he will take his College Park album on the road with friend and Three 6 Mafia co-founder Juicy J later this spring.
On Tuesday (March 7), the Grammy-nominated hitmaker took to Instagram to announce that the College Park Tour will kick off in May and trek across 23 cities. Tickets go on sale on March 10 — get them here.
The news comes a week after the release of Logic’s eighth studio album, which features guest appearances from Bun B, Fat Tre, Norah Jones, RZA, Redman, Seth MacFarlane, and more.
The project marks Logic’s first independent album since severing ties with Def Jam in 2022. His final release on the label was Vinyl Days, which he revealed was recorded in just 12 days to accelerate his departure.
Their upcoming tour won’t be the last time Logic and Juicy J plan to collaborate. The Three 6 Mafia rapper and producer’s next album is expected to be executive produced by Logic.
Logic revealed the news in an Instagram post in January while goofing around with Juicy in a fake interview. “For those of you who don’t know, I, Logic, am actually executive producing one of Juicy J’s next albums,” he said. “It’s the most Dilla, Hip Hop, Alchemist, gangsta, Madlib dopest shit ever.”
Meanwhile, Logic has been enjoying some the fruits of his labor in recent months. Earlier this year, the 33-year-old filmed a music video, for a song he recorded called “Maybach Music” where he got to flex off his new $325,000 Maybach.
The track — which shares the same title and even tag as Rick Ross’ flagship song series — finds the DMV lyricist gracefully spitting braggadocious bars over a thumping soul loop from longtime producer 6ix.
“I grew up 515 miles from Seven Mile/ But this beat got me feelin’ slummy, dummy, ayo/ I never passed 10th grade but I still get the rent paid/ You fake, I be real [B-Real] like Cypress Hill, word to Muggs,” he raps on the track.
“I bought a Maybach and recorded a song it,” Logic tweeted while sharing the song’s accompanying video, which shows him laying down his vocals while sitting passenger side in his luxurious new vehicle.
