Fans won’t be able to watch Nas’ listening party on the WAV app.
In a statement to HipHopDX, WAV revealed it won’t be hosting a livestream for the event.
“WAV had no previous plans to livestream tonight’s listening session, but stay tuned to find out what’s coming up next for us!” a company rep told DX.
The WAV app previously hosted streams for Kanye West’s ye and Kids See Ghosts listening parties, which were marred by delays. Both events didn’t begin until hours after the originally scheduled start times.
Nas’ album is the fourth in a series of West-produced projects released on a weekly basis. All of the albums feature just seven tracks.

A day after Kanye West unveiled the tracklist for Nas’ new album, it was announced that a listening party for the album will be taking place Thursday (June 14).
Rap Radar‘s Elliott Wilson revealed the event for the Kanye-produced album would go down somewhere in Queens, New York but didn’t provide details on the time or the exact location. Nor has it been announced if the event will be streamed on the WAV app like Kids See Ghosts and ye were. So far, Nas hasn’t posted any details about the listening party on his socials.
Nas’s new album will be the fourth installment in Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music package that was promised back in April. The project also marks Nas’ 11th studio album and the first in 6 years; Life is Good was released in 2012.
Th project comes just as Nas’ Mass Appeal Records has just signed a global distribution deal with Universal Music Group. On June 13, Nas made the big announcement via press release.

“I’ve been blessed to work with two of the best brands in music. Columbia Records was how I got my start and Def Jam was where I continued that journey. In my next chapter, I am proud to say that I am signing myself to myself. I look forward to releasing many projects in the very near future with Mass Appeal’s new global partnership with UMG.”
The new album will be released in collaboration with Def Jam.

I’ve been waiting for at least 4 years for the king to release something. I just have to wait a few more days now. Bless up King Nasir
Should be available at midnight or tomorrow at the latest. Release is supposed to be the 15th unless they’ve changed it in the last few days
Fucking boo to your fanboyisms. Nas is wack always has been. If you take the jay z beef out of the equation hes nothing. Jayz sucks too
Fuck off dickhead troll

you sound like someone who wasnt even around back then to know… dumbs ass kids
you sound like someone who wasn’t even around back then to know… dumbs ass kids
WHENS THE ALBUM DROPPING? NAS SEASON LETS GO
Tomorrow
Tired of these 7 song albums….c’mon man.
Hope it will be across platforms no wav bullshit, and watch DX come out with a review by Sunday ahahahahahahaha
Maybe we’ll actually get it at midnight since this isn’t a GOOD music release
Always up for a new Nas album but I wish the shit was more than 7 tracks. I guess I’m old school but I just prefer albums with more songs, especially from artists that I actually fuck with.
I´m done with NAS, sorry. We waited 6 Years for 7 Songs? Ok, thanks for all the Memories, LIFE IS GOOD was a great EXIT for him and myself…..
Neither Nas nor any other artist owe you anything bro. It’s their art dummy lol
You mad Kanye hater lmaoo
ok… Live your life
Give us that verbal intercourse flow Nas!!! That on the real flow ….. this project has the potential to be huge
Although I still wish Nas’ album was more than 7 songs, I can’t even be mad at that anymore. I’m grateful that Nas is putting out new music at all. If you’re also a Nas fan, I think you should feel the same.
I grew up on nas but am far from grateful for 7 fucking songs. He doesn’t really give a damn.
Nas album done, finally.
I hope this is the only project Nas is going to do with Koonye. I just don’t get a good vibe from this 7 track album. I want some real heat from Nas and not some artsy, creative over-the-top experiment.
Did you not hear DAYTONA?
Calm down buddy, Daytona was just alright………It was a nice decent album but nothing near a classic….
Chill people it will be somewhat of a double album. With the other one released later. The first one dropping tonight is called “Nasir” and it wouldn’t surprise me if the second one dropping later is called “Jones”
Sure. I think there will be not two albums but five – Nasir Bin Olu Dara Jones
‘Bin’ wouldn’t be a great name for an album lol
Upset at 7 songs? DON’T BUY IT. SEND A MESSAGE TO NAS AND KANYE BOTH. 7 songs? Disrespectful to fans…
Disrespectful how? I’d rather have 7 solid songs I can press play on over a 10-15 song album I have to skip around on and be lucky to find 7 songs I enjoy.
I would suggest going into it with an open mind, regardless of the other kanye projects. Nas first album had 10 songs and it is one of his best works. Not saying this will be close to that caliber, just saying its only 3 songs shy of that classic.
Quality over quantity.
Just like Illmatic, hopefully lol
Should feel more excited for a Nas album. But it’s just so disappointing to see Nas continue to support/work with Kanye after his recent MAGA/slavery antics..nas doesn’t NEED Kanye…and if he had any credibility given his subject matter and as a socially conscious black man, he wouldn’t work with kanye…so F*** NAS.
What nas did with 9 songs on illmatic was a rare feat for a 90s emcee,so I think it’s time to stop comparing.Surgical summer releases are ep’s bottom line.
I can’t believe Nas would stoop low enough to align himself with Kanye for an album. These albums are cash grabs, they’re basically glorified EP’s. I can see why YE would do it because he somehow thinks its futureistic or trendsetting. Nas has never been great at picking beats, but I’m not looking forward to Kanye’s techno beats and people screaming on the chorus. I Nas is the lyrical assassin and I look forward to him dropping much in the same way I do Em and very few others that can actually spit bars. I just hope this isn’t terrible like the Kanye album. Nas is a smart dude and I hope it works out. Often times 15-20 track albums are full of fillers, but Nas should’ve dropped 10-12 songs. I’m hopeful that Kanye will one day go back to his roots and start spitting again instead of doing all of this terrible off the wall bulkshut that he thinks is ahead of time when really it’s just god awful. I just hope it’s significantly better than the first 3 they dropped. Although I’m still banging Daytona for the amount or time it took to drop the album and hype surrounding it I was dissapointed with the outcome. When an album is 7 songs you expect perfection. Ye was an absolute flop in my opinion, lyrics were average at best and the production was absolutely horrible. Kids see Ghosts however did exceed my expectations and it was nice seeing Kanye spit some bars for a change. Maybe he needs to only put out joint orimedesbvedahwr it seems the competitive nature brings out the best in him. Watch the Throne had some of Ye’s best bars since his debut album. As inconsistent as Ye has been in recent memory I have to keep the faith in my man Nas and hope he drops another classic. With the bullshit albums Jay has put out in recent years it’d be nice to see Nas drop a little more frequently and spit some bars rather than selling out. I have faith that Nas knows what got him here and what his fans want. It’s time for Gods Son to restake his claim as hip hops elite.
Here we go with the weak Nas beat argument, like Everything has to be geared toward the club…
Love that people have a problem with 7 songs, way too much shit out there .. music is an art, if you can’t handle an artist choosing quality over quantity then go back to mumble rap where dudes can make beats in 3 mins and pump out a garbage album in a week. Can’t wait to hear Nas, been too long .. Kanye is one of the best producers today, of you can’t hear that you’re deaf.
Great to see this one coming out on YouTube, at least we know it can handle the traffic without crashing ..
Just because you lower your output to 7 songs doesn’t mean it’s going to be all quality.
Definitely doesn’t, but it also shouldn’t make it a disappointment.
Daytona gave me the most satisfying listen this whole year with only 7 songs so I’m not too worried about Nas not delivering.
Such a dumb argument. Sit down. Smh.
Still dreaming is one of my favorite Nas songs ever…but I still question why he chose to align with Kanye now, in spite of all the bullshit that’s come out of his mouth that goes directly against everything Nas is supposed to represent. I know a lot of that shit was publicity stunts, but damn…Premier still out here doing work, we been waiting on that damn near as long as Detox. Whatever, I just want this to be fire, period…
What’s the best album in 2018 so far? Can’t wait to hear what I’m dealin’ with ..
Victory Lap, Book of Ryan, Streams of Thought Vol. 1 (EP but still) and DAYTONA (damn near an EP) all right there. KOD cool too but personally I keep going back to PRhyme 2, which somehow STILL HASN’T BEEN REVIEWED ON THIS SITE???
With you .. streams of thought vol 1 is sick, refreshing as hell .. Daytona has been on rotation .. feelin’ good about tonight.
Victory lap and daytona
All these crybabies whining over 7 songs… when’s the last time you actually played even close to 7 songs from a single album on repeat? Albums will have 13+ songs and only 2 are worth more than one listen.
Brother Ali-“All the beauty in this whole life” came out last year, had 15 songs. There are plenty of albums out there that over 10 good songs on the album. You just have to find them. The songs don’t gt played on the radio
The beats on Daytona and KSG were dope as fuck. Stop crying about the amount of tracks and Kanye’s publicity stunts. Give this a chance. I’m sure Real Nas fans will like it. That Ye album was straight garbage though. Not one single on there…
iAM a real Nas fan. Expected classic material like Common/Ye however, I accept what he does, They don’t owe me anything lol Nas lyrics on superb on this record. 4mics at least
This album isn’t bad but it’s definitely NOT Nas best work. It’s too slow for me and sounds how I didn’t want it to sound which is too much like the last 3 recent albums that kanye produced. Like I said it’s not a bad album but not exactly what I want to hear from Nas. Alot of the sounds in the beats sound very similar on every track so far. Not a lot of versatility. Like they are all the same bpm almost. Too many slow songs. Maybe after hearing it a few times and really really zoning into it might sound better to me but I am a lil disappointed. Ì expected more from him and Ye. Ì seen someone comment there is another album from Nas?? Whoever posted that comment I’d like to know where you got that info from and if it’s able to get confirmed
Mas has another project coming out this year on his own label without good music. It’s all over the internet. Google it, lazy ass.
His best album since illmatic and yeezy just cemented his place in history as the best producer in rap.
If you didn’t like this album you’re a f*ggot, straight up. This shit was EPIC. Better than anything made by Kendrick, J Cole, and all of those corny rappers you kids like.
Nice language asshole
The cops shot the kid the cops shot the kid the cops shot… ….wow. That chop is crazy. Adam and Eve is fire. Who said the production ain’t hitting? smh tripping gz
Best album of the year so far… hands down. Drake and his camp better forget about any of that GOOD music beef. For real.
No Chy hi the Prynce is dopest album so far.
Cyhi album is dope, one of the best if not the best of the year, but came out last year not this year
Too many Dickriders on here.
These days everything is a classice
People seriously if what rappers do in their private lives mater then you should delete all the music you got from Eminem to Dr Dre. Second Nas hasn’t been charged for assault so fuc all that Kelis drama. Now on to Kanye, are you telling me you’ll curve dudes you made friends with because they hold different political views? Nas has known Kanye since 2001 (Kanye always wanted to work with him) so how Pusha and Kid Cudi look then?. Lets get to the music you sick fucks. The album is nice but because its short it can’t qualify as a classic but gets a strong 3.8 from me
I like this entire album except ‘Everything’. Why’s it gotta open with this 7 minute shit?!?! Bars on Everything are great but hook and music turn me off. Then the rest of the album is fucking incredible.
does Nas NOT deserve Epic intro’s? I don’t get it. the Hooks performed by the Dream, who is a proven writer. You just hating lol
