Lil B Threatens To Curse L.A. Lakers’ Lonzo Ball For Nas Comment

Lil B has threatened to unleash one of his infamous curses on L.A. Lakers’ rookie Lonzo Ball for his seemingly offhand comments about Nas and Hip Hop.

“Lonzo ball is a few seconds away from being cursed his rookie year on the lakers,” Lil B wrote on Twitter Saturday (September 2). “nas is hip hop and always relevant, watch ur team.”

The BasedGod was referring to comments Ball made on the reality show Ball In The Family. “Don’t nobody listen to Nas anymore,” Ball told a cameraman. “Real Hip Hop is Migos, Future.”

The Pack MC was clearly not trying to hear that and initially gave Ball a stern warning.

“Did lavar [Lonzo] ball really say something about nas that was not of the highest respects concerning hip hop?,” he wrote. “You have been warned #cursed.”

Lil B’s curses are legendary. The Black Ken rapper recently lifted one off of the NBA’s James Harden, but it looks like Ball could be his next victim.

This isn’t the first time Ball has upset Hip Hop purists. In July, he tweeted 21 Savage’s Issa album is better than JAY-Z’s 4:44, which ignited a firestorm of comments.

    1. Looks like hip hop’s troll king is being trolled for the first time ever. This is critical everybody. Make chess moves B, not checkers, if you still want to defend your title with honor. Thought I’d never see the day..

    2. Not really sure tho… was Issa better than 4:44… i listened to both of em twice and thought they were both trash and didn’t listen to em again… now that Kendrick, that Tyler, that Gibbs, that Oddisee, that Raekwon… them stayed on repeat. I checks for Nasir tho… just like I would for Em or Kanye. Them old school goats.

      1. I agree that Tyler album was pretty damn good. 4:44 was good but by no means a classic or great… this from a massive Jay fan

    3. Real hip hop is migos and future.. lol. I would never say any of the 80s/early 90s guys weren’t hip hop even though I don’t listen to too much of it, gotta show respect. Issa was literally the same song over and over again followed by a 7 minute freestyle that was 7 minutes too long. And to the dude below me, 4:44 was not trash. Only album you mentioned that belongs in the discussion with it is DAMN.

        1. Not really sir. Both are very good albums. Say what you will but the sample for the title track 4:44 is hard AF and Marcy Me is what hip hop is all about. Again, I like both albums. And anyone who says Issa was great needs to stop. Just stop everything in general.

      1. Damn was average. 4:44 was great. Future and Migos are real hip-hop as much as anybody. Hip-hop is a young genre that never experienced a evolution yet. Rock evolved and Metal was born. Rock n Roll evolved, Jazz evolved with different elements and instruments let hip-hop evolve too. It only started in the 80’s not old as other genres

        1. Yeah, but a key component in hip hop is having a capable MC, which migos and future are not. It’s not just about banging beats and repeating the same words over and over. I prefer to call it devolution, it’s regression, we are eliminating rap from hip hop and it’s disgusting.

    4. People are quick to say oh he’s young so he doesn’t know any better. Shit, when I was 19 (in 2007) I was well aware of Ready To Die, Illmatic, 36 chambers, reasonable doubt, maaan…. I even knew about paid in full and raising hell. Lonzo is a dummy with no sense of hip-hip history.

    5. I don’t give 2 fucks about his music interests. As long as he helps turn this team around, he can listen to Rupaul for all I care.

    6. Nothing but worthless talk and to waste the public time wit what some corn ball like lil B or Lonzo ball got to say nothing lil b does matter in life this puppet needs to be exterminated on sight like a cock roach

    7. Comments with insight, that avoid the generation vs generation war gets deleted on a regular basis on this site. But these white “journalists” will let you disrespect the black community.
