LL COOL J, Jadakiss and Mary J. Blige surprised fans on Wu-Tang Clan and Nas‘ N.Y. State of Mind Tour by stopping by to perform some hits.

Footage from the concert showed the legendary artists taking the stage at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday (October 4). LL COOL J took to Instagram along with his Rock The Bells page showing behind-the-scenes footage of the concert and the action going down on stage, such as him arriving during Method Man and Redman’s set to perform his verse on their 1997 collaborative single “4,3,2,1.”

Mary J. Blige showed up to perform the 1995 Grammy Award-winning single “All I Need” with Method Man, while Jadakiss reportedly popped up during Nas’ set. The tour has already had several guests pop up, with Public Enemy’s Flava Flav joining Nas during the September 3 stop in Clarkston, Michigan.

The N.Y. State of Mind Tour kicked off in St. Louis, Missouri on August 30 and has swung through cities such as Toronto, New Jersey, Atlanta, Houston and Phoenix. The trek wraps up in San Diego, California on Thursday (October 6).

Nas and Wu-Tang Clan released a documentary last month taking fans behind the scenes of their summer tour. The eight-minute film captured members of the Wu recalling the first time they heard Nas, while Busta Rhymes — the tour’s special guest — spoke about joining his “brothers” on the road.

“Our brother Nas, we saw something in him when he first started,” Raekwon said. “It was something about him that took us back to our neighborhood. To be able to see that he was as young as he was at that time and really so smart and intelligent and also street at the same time, it only really took us 2.3 seconds to be like, ‘He’s golden.'”

Busta added: “Over 27 years of friendship, brotherhood, camaraderie… and we’re just now doing it for the first time is fucking me up. The beautiful thing is, divine timing is the best timing. So people are going to get this experience for the first time while we are at our best.”
