Flavor Flav popped up during Nas’ set at the Michigan stop of the N.Y. State of Mind Tour on Saturday night (September 3).
As Nas was performing “Made You Look” from the 2002 album God’s Son, the Public Enemy multi-instrumentalist and infamous hypeman ran onstage and started dancing along to the beat. It was a moment both Nas and the crowd appeared to appreciate.
At the beginning of the Instagram clip, shared by Flav on Saturday (September 3), Nas shouts “go Flav, go Flav” as the 63-year-old busts a move. Nas then motions toward the crowd and says, “Flavor Flav! Public Enemy on stage!” then pretends to bow down to the Hip Hop legend.
Flav added in the caption, “FLAVOR FLAV::: on stage wit da G O D. Nas Escobar.”

Nas announced the co-headlining N.Y. State of Mind Tour with fellow New York natives Wu-Tang Clan in April. The 25-city trek kicked off in St. Louis, Missouri on August 30 and will culminate in Los Angeles on October 4, with additional stops in cities such as Toronto, Atlanta and Houston.
Although there aren’t any dates in New York City, there are two stops in nearby New Jersey — one at the Waterfront Music Pavilion in Camden on September 8 and another at Newark’s Prudential Center on September 13.
The first show, at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, also featured Busta Rhymes, who was announced as the tour’s special guest just a few days prior.

As for Flavor Flav, he’s been crashing shows all week. Two days ago, he posted a video of himself onstage with Wiz Khalifa, who was playing with Logic in Detroit as part of the Vinyl Verse Tour. In the clip, Flav is holding two massive inflatable joints as he dances along to the music. Check it out below.
