Filipino rapper Matthaios surprised his fans with his wholesome tribute to all kinds of love in “Ngiti” (Smile). The music video features a touching montage celebrating both same-sex and different-sex relationships.

This is particularly notable in the context of the Philippines, where 2022 marks the 22nd year since the bill to penalize discrimination against people on the basis of their sexual orientation and gender identity, or the SOGIE Equality Bill, was first filed in Philippine Congress.
