The SB19 boys are back and better than ever.

The P-pop phenom dropped their highly-anticipated comeback single, “WYAT” (Where You At) today (September 2) at 12 noon, Manila time. The release comes after a series of cryptic videos that finally culminated in the announcement of their latest single and world tour.

Produced by SB19’s very own Pablo and his brother Josue, the group shares that the single “first made rounds during SB19’s sold-out online concert Our Zone last year, and was re-recorded at Pablo’s studio for a fuller, more polished touch.” This is the group’s first official release since their hiatus in 2021.

In a press statement, Pablo explains that “We’ve been performing for almost half of our lives together, and due to the pandemic, our world was suddenly put on hold. I felt a disconnection among the group brought about by the lockdown, and I’ve wanted to reach out to them through this song.”

The disco-pop track kicks off their “new era”, with SB19 member Josh saying that, “Our team often tries to do something different from what we’ve done before; we’re always evolving.”

“WYAT” was released with a music video directed by Justin De Dios. The visual explores the group traveling through time, with scenes set in the 50s, 70s, 90s, and finally the present day.
