Vietnam’s Anh Phan and Larria. greet one of the country’s beauty queens with a montage of Vietnam and comedic skits to boot in “Nguyễn Thúc Thùy Tiên,” named after the country’s Miss Grand International 2021.

The track is laden with bell-like production that sounds very similar to 50 Cent’s 2003 hit, “P.I.M.P. (Snoop Dogg Remix)” featuring Snoop Dogg, G-Unit. In a way, it’s a hilarious juxtaposition of Vietnamese sounds over a music video with joy rides on a double-decker tourist bus–with actual tourists still on the bus–and a stereotypical Asian soap drama scene (complete with a fake wig and dramatic music).

It’s hilarious and textbook Anh Phan, who likes to throw in a few jokes in his music videos. In a loosely translated Facebook post promoting the new track, the rapper writes: “Happy Birthday my wife ‘Nguyễn Thúc Thùy Tiên.”
