“On a really terrible day? There’s a very fine line between a terrible day and a good day… 40-45,” he said. “By the time I ask Ben for that second pack, I’m like, ‘Alright dude, chill out.’ But then by the time I open that third pack, I’m like, ‘I’m a total piece of shit and I need to go to sleep.'”

When asked about the most cigarettes he’s ever smoked in a day, he replied, “Probably like 80.” Posty also discussed his perfect smoking set-up and whether smoking is damaging his vocals.

“I used to [smoke them in bed], but not really anymore,” he said. “Now I have like a special zone – it has like my PC in it and my Magic: The Gathering shit, so I just go down there and fucking rip cigs and build decks and die in Apex Legends. It definitely has [fucked up my voice], but I mean, Johnny Cash smoked his whole life – he sounded cool, you know?”

Post Malone went undercover on Reddit for GQ in 2017, where he revealed he’d stopped smoking Marlboro Reds in favor of Camel Crush.

“I used to smoke Marlboro Reds and that was a lot cooler of me, but now I smoke girly cigarettes like Camel Crush and that’s my favorite cigarette,” he said at the time. “I like ’em ’cause you can smoke ’em all day and it’s just like… it doesn’t hurt your throat that much. But Marlboro Reds suck. Not really, but they hurt.”
