Nicki Minaj is slated to release her fifth studio album later in 2022. Following the birth of her son last year, the Queens icon returned to kick off the project’s rollout in February with a pair of Lil Baby-assisted singles titled “Bussin” and “Do We Have A Problem?” and the latter of the two reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The Barbz leader found herself in familiar territory as a trending topic dominating social media conversation following the arrival of her anticipated interview with Joe Budden last week. Nicki decided to address the “obsessed” haters with a few bars on Twitter Sunday night (March 13).
“Gets paid dust as these papers get put togeva* muva. can’t say without mega. Watching my interviews obsessed like no ova. Oh dats Hard, what’s those? They Bottega. U was in them dms beggin, u been a beggar. Sonning btchs way b4 that post “PREGGERS”. 2022 u DONE uKnewBETTA,” she wrote.
She even spit those bars in a voice note posted to Twitter but prefaced it saying, “Obsessed watching everything I do claiming they don’t like me. Every move I make they know. How the fuck — y’all don’t got nothing going on in your lives?”
