As Conway The Machine finally puts the finishing touches on his Shady Records debut God Don’t Make Mistakes, the Griselda co-founder rolled out the music video to the project’s lead single “John Woo Flick” on Friday (February 18).
The Langston Sessoms-directed video also features Griselda affiliates Benny The Butcher and Westside Gunn as the trio trade venomous bars on the Daringer and Kill-produced track to flex their superiority in the rap game.
“Look, tell them rap n-ggas we takin’ over, had to change the flow up,” Conway raps in the song’s opening bars. “Now I’m in the Maybach sippin a Spade mimosa/Take a big and make the quota with the bakin’ soda/Pray to Jehovah, K with the shoulder strap, spray, it’s over.”

The video finds all three rappers donning tailored suits as they loiter about in a seedy nightclub. Conway raps the track’s hook in an abandoned warehouse, holding a chopper in one hand and swaddled newborn baby in the other.
God Don’t Make Mistakes will finally drop on February 25, nearly five years after Conway initially signed a deal with Shady Records. The album features appearances from Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Jill Scott, T.I., Beanie Sigel, The Alchemist, Hit-Boy, Daringer, Beat Butcha and others.
The last time Conway dropped a project was in 2021 with the mixtape La Maquina. The 11-track project featured 2 Chainz, Ludacris, JID, El Camino, and fellow Griselda constituents Westside Gunn and Benny The Butcher.
