Drake‘s bromance with NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. was on full display during the Super Bowl LVI celebrations on Sunday (February 13).

Following the Los Angeles Rams’ 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, the 6 God took to Instagram to congratulate his close friend and Rams wide receiver on winning his very first Super Bowl ring.

Drizzy posted a slideshow of photos of him and OBJ from over the years and accompanied it with a heartfelt verse/poem written specially for his “Laugh Now Cry Later” co-star.

“I wish I got my flowers when everything wasn’t rosey/How I’m supposed to smell em when everyone’s being nosy/Pictures of me victorious they making with Adobe make me thankful that a trophy was never what made me cozy,” Drake wrote.

“For now I just want to feel something/After that I wanna heal something/And after that I wanna build something/But today I just fulfilled something @obj.”

Odell Beckham Jr. reportedly earned $1 million in bonuses for bringing home the Super Bowl, but he isn’t the only one celebrating a huge payday thanks to the Rams’ victory; Drake also netted himself seven figures after winning two separate bets on the game.

As revealed on Instagram last week, the Toronto native wagered $1.6 million Canadian dollars (roughly $1.26 million U.S.) on the Rams-Bengals game, including $600,000 on the Rams to win and an additional $500,000 on OBJ to score a touchdown.

Drake’s first bet came through just over eight minutes into the first quarter as Beckham Jr. caught a 17-yard strike from Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford to score the first touchdown of the game.

Drizzy also had a $500,000 bet on his pal to rack up at least 62.5 receiving yards, but he only managed 52 yards in a curtailed appearance. The 29-year-old limped off the field late in the second quarter and didn’t return after injuring his left knee.

Coupled with his winning bet on the Rams’ victory, Drake won a total of $1.981 million Canadian (around $1.55 million U.S.) from the Super Bowl showdown.

When Odell Beckham Jr. was asked about Drizzy’s sizeable bets before the game, the NFL superstar told ESPN with a laugh, “Man, I’ve got to come through for him!”
