Staten Island native LAYA didn’t hesitate to make her Warner Bros. debut have a piece of home attached. For “Brag,” the singer/songwriter enlists Fivio Foreign for a guest appearance along with a creative visualizer to match.

Crafted around high school accolades and superlatives, the visualizer finds LAYA and Fivio performing while framed around yearbook photos before the page turns and the two are standing together in a pose for prom king and queen.

“I don’t wanna brag too fast,” Laya sings on the chorus. “I don’t wanna brag when I get the big bag.”

Although the track’s chorus echoes thoughts of humility, LAYA’s opening verse flatly decrees she isn’t here for latecomers to her bandwagon and has no love for “crooked n-ggas.”
